THE APPOINTMENT

Your first appointment will take approximately 45 minutes depending on the area and complexity of the problem. You will be asked a series of questions relating to your condition, followed by a practical examination of the area involved.

This assessment process enables your physiotherapist to make a diagnosis and plan your treatment. We can then discuss how we suggest treating the problem, what techniques we might use, and what you can do at home to treat yourself. Our aim is to get you better as quickly as we can.

Subsequent sessions will last approximately 30 minutes.

Treatment is given in a private air conditioned room and you are welcome to be accompanied if you wish.

You will be given advice and a programme of exercises specific to your problem. Each time you attend BGPhysio your progress will be assessed and the treatment plan altered accordingly.

We accept referrals from specialists, GP's or you can self refer.

We have excellent connections with consultants in the Sussex/Surrey area allowing access to specialist opinion if required.
